Secret Strusctures at the Millennnium Seed Bank

'In these sculptures, Perdita Sinclair explores how nature tackles the challenge of seed dispersal. The suspended light sculpture traces the sweeping journey of a wind dispersed orchid seed – the tiniest seed in the world.

In contrast, the plinth sculptures explore the weighty and tenacious brazil nut, and the jungle creatures called agoutis, who alone can breach their tough shell.  In each case, the artworks somehow embody the seed’s journey.'
